About Us

This site has been created by Annette Zrihen and Jeff Sussman, who firmly believe in the importance of keeping strong ties between the Israeli/Jewish Community of the greater Boston area and the State of Israel. To this end, in 1996 we established SMART ISRAPAGES - BOSTON, a highly informative business directory for our community (you can obtain copies by calling 617-738-5038).

The directory, now in its 3rd edition, is growing in size and readership from year to year.

In response to requests from our readers and advertisers (and a few ideas of our own!), SMART ISRAPAGES has gradually expanded its activities to provide a range of Israeli/Jewish services that support and build community, culture, business, social connectedness, and education:
Community support services. We provide babysitter/au pair/caretaker matching, job referrals, newcomer-to-Boston orientation.
Cultural and business support activities. Each year, we bring several known Israeli performers to Boston, organize book discussion groups based on the works of Israeli writers, and coordinate lectures, business-to-business meetings, and high tech gatherings. We even arrange the occasional "shira b'tzibur" (Israeli singalong)!
Social and educational events. We host children's talent shows and other activities, as well as group tours for adults.

Think of SMART ISRAPAGES as your forum for linking up with Israelis in the Boston area. We can help you get in touch with your heritage, learn things you want and need to know, and make new friends.
