Avner Gadassi, a life-time singer, was born in Schoonat Hatikvah.
At age 18 Avner won a large youth talent show. His first success came
in 1972, when he recorded his original composition "Nifradnu Kach"
("The Way We Separated"). The song won much appraise, and a
year later was performed by Gadassi in front of the Yom Kippur soldiers.
To date, Gadassi has produced nine albums, performed with
legendary singers such as Avihu Medina and Chaim Moshe, and continues
to record new material.
This event is brought to you and produced by HaKesher Organization
and the Brookline Community Center for the Arts (BCCA),
with special thanks to George Kariotis of Dionysos.
